Everyone has different taste when it comes to style. Whether its girly glamour you love, or if it’s an edgier look that you tend to go for, the world of fashion is so diverse that there is often no right or wrong answer when it comes to dress sense.
Student style is probably one of the most varied types out there, it cannot be defined. Here, three of Canterbury’s students give Style Campus a peek into their wardrobes and let us know what ticks their fashion boxes.
Wardrobe 1
Name: Hannah Atterbury
Age: 20
Hannah loves to look girly and glamourous. One peak into her wardrobe and the first thing that catches Style Campus’s eye is the seemingly never ending amounts of dresses crammed inside, so many that they seem to almost be spilling out of the sides. She says: “I love ASOS for party dresses, they're always such good quality and cheap too. I’m a student so it can be hard to afford to buy new clothes, but I signed up online and now ASOS send me emails with discount codes several times a week…I would recommend any student to shop there.”

Wardrobe 2
Age: 21
One look into Jess’s wardrobe, and Style Campus is overwhelmed by the amounts of clothes that she has managed to squeeze in there. Dresses, tops, trousers, skirts…Jess seems to have dozens of each, leaving us wondering how a skint student manages to accumulate all of these wonderful clothes. She says: “I love a bargain, and I’m a real sale shopper. I tend to hold out on my spending until the big sales start each season. I always head there with certain items I want in mind, otherwise I know I’ll end up coming home with all kinds of stuff I don’t really need. My tip to students is to be patient enough to deal with the sales, I know they’re messy and the shoppers can be a pain, but if you have the patience to look you’ll find all sorts of bargains hidden in there.”

Name: Kerry Harrison
Age: 20
If there’s one way to describe Kerry’s look, it’s versatile. Her wardrobe seems to show that she’s never afraid to try a new trend, in fact there appears to be items to suit any fashionista in there, so it’s almost impossible to describe the contents of her wardrobe to just one certain look. What is clear however, is that Kerry has a weakness for shoes. Style Campus almost lost count of how many she has stashed away in her wardrobe. She says: “Shoes are my all-time favourite buy, I don’t think anyone can have too many. Clothes can go in and out of trend, but there never seems to be a style rule when it comes to shoes. My tip would be to invest in a few good pairs, as shoes are the items you can keep for years and wear time and time again.”
