Brilliant bargains, fabulous clothes and an over-excited crowd of student shoppers...it could only mean that the Whitefriars Student Shopping event has descended on the city of Canterbury once again.

Last night, Canterbury's high street found itself bombarded with students on the hunt for this season’s hottest trends. The Whitefriars Student Shopping night offered them that and more, and has fast become one of the most highly anticipated events on the student style calendar.
October 16th found the high streets elite offering their customers a series of unmissable discounts, with stores such as H&M, Republic and River Island tempting buyers with as much as 30% off with the presentation of a valid student card.
With many stores being left with empty shelves, the event was a clear hit. However, it was student favourite Topshop that truly benefited from the student’s splurges.
